WATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

The Bay County Department of Water & Sewer is seeking resumes from qualified persons for a Water Treatment Plant Operations Specialist at Bay County Department of Water and Sewer. Due to an internal promotion, the Bay Area Water Treatment Plant has an opening in their operations department. This is a full-time union position.
Qualifications include: High School Diploma and valid Michigan driver license with clean driving record. Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) F-4 Water Treatment operator certification preferred. One year of laboratory, chemical process, or environmental experience preferred.
The annual salary for this position starts at $49,420 and progresses to $57,657 based on the 2024 fiscal year wage scale.
