Fluoridation

Fluoridation of Your Water

Water fluoridation is when a small amount of fluoride is added to a public water supply in order to help prevent cavities and tooth decay. Fluoride is added to our water at the target concentration of 0.7 milligrams per Liter (mg/L). This is the level recommended by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
