WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

The Bay County Department of Water & Sewer is seeking resumes from qualified persons for a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations Specialist at Bay County Department of Water and Sewer. This is a full-time union position.
Qualifications include: High School Diploma and valid Michigan driver license with clean driving record. Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) class D Wastewater Certification preferred. One year of laboratory, chemical process, or environmental experience preferred.
The annual salary for this position starts at $49,420 and progresses to $55,785 based on the 2024 fiscal year wage scale. Excellent fringe benefits include Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance plans, 13 paid holidays, paid sick and vacation, a defined benefit pension plan, and licensing/tuition reimbursement.
